| This study aimed to analyze the results of blood routine, blood biochemistry, coagulation function, and infectionrelated biomarkers of adult patients with COVID19 for marking the warning index of the hematological parameters in severe COVID-19 patients. The study revealed that IL-6 and d-D had the highest specificity and sensitivity for early prediction of the severity of COVID-19 patients. | Despite of the significant results obtained this study has a few limitations such as the low sample size, low control samples and the absence of blood tests for the study was not carried out at regular intervals. ✍ | 32181911 (J Med Virol)
